Physical Education is recognized as a training process aimed at the development of skills and motor skills, physical-sports and specific knowledge of students, as well as Christian attitudes and values, caring for their body and being healthy to serve God of the best possible way The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God must be glorified in the body, assuming a holistic view of the body as a "unit" that thinks, feels and acts simultaneously, in continuous interaction with the environment, developing all its dimensions: biological, psychological, affective, spiritual and social. Within this area, the development of motor skills is considered an essential aspect.
In Physical Education, two anthropological categories are considered: our organism (body) and its capacity for action and expression (movement), which are the main axes from which the educational action that generates body learning is organized. The holistic vision of the body considers the human dimensions and guarantees its development in an integral, personal and group way, promoted by the individual and team work with the practice of collective sports, where in a solidary way the problems and conflicts are solved with the capacity of dialogue and openness, taking them as the basis of the training process, which promote leadership attitudes that strengthen self-esteem and experience values through sports experiences, contextualizing the practice of Physical Education according to the theoretical and practical contents at different levels .
