FORMATION IN FAITH

We must be witnesses with personal and committed faith that allows us to make sense out of our lives and guide us in our daily activities. In the same way, our faith will encourage us to embody our values in our real life.

FAMILY SPIRIT

This is a specific recognizable feature in the Marianist educational communities that offers a climate of acceptance, discipline, and love, which supports human growth and sensible maturity as men and women responsible for a home. The family spirit promotes interpersonal relationships characterized by respect, integrity, tolerance, and dialog. One of the strengths that parents appreciate in our school, along with academic quality, is our value-oriented education. We will continue to devote our best efforts to this endeavor. This year we will pay special attention to two values (which we will call institutional values) and which will be transversal to all of our educational work.

SOLIDARITY

In the Global Development Plan of the Marianist Educational Institutions, we find the following indicators: The practice of solidarity and empathy will be promoted, thus encouraging human interaction skills. Marianists around the world make of "solidarity with the poor and the builders of peace the cornerstone of their life and mission". In the same way, starting two decades ago, the Marianists reiterated the petition to "promote the formation and commitment to work on the eradication of the causes that engender injustice, poverty, and exclusion." Service-Learning is a way to work on projects that develop this value among our students.

RESPECT

In an individualistic society plagued with conceit and exclusion, the importance of this value is self-evident, as it will help us to coexist in harmony. In this regard, we wish to once again to extend an invitation to parents to join us in our commitment. We invite you to encourage your children to respect their teachers; we are convinced that, in doing so, you will also be encouraging them to respect you, deservingly so, as parents and first educators. Another important aspect of this value is punctuality. In this way, we join the national campaign for punctuality initiated this year. Being on time is the challenge to which all Peruvians must rise. Arriving to appointments at the scheduled time, meeting deadlines, starting ceremonies on the agreed time, and arriving to school early enough to get ready for class are some attitudes that we will strengthen this year.
